Server Rules

Respect other claims protection.

Claim overclaiming is not allowed. If you want to build near another player's claim, you must ask for their permission first. Without approval, your claim must be at least 200 blocks away from existing claims.

Respectful Conduct.

Swearing is allowed within reasonable limits, but insulting or attacking other players is not. Friendly jokes between friends are completely fine, but we do not tolerate harassment, hate speech, or any form of verbal abuse.

Don’t grief or steal.

Griefing community projects, bases, or builds that are not protected by claims is strictly forbidden. Taking items from these locations without permission is also considered stealing. If you need something, always ask the owner first. Respect other players' work and effort instead of taking items without approval.

Report bugs or exploits, do not abuse them!

Using bugs, glitches, or exploits to gain unfair advantages is strictly punishable. Be fair and honest. If you discover a bug or exploit, report it to the staff team. Players who responsibly report issues may receive a fair reward for helping improve the server.

No unauthorized advertising!

Advertising other servers, communities, or services is strictly prohibited. We also do not support players advertising CovenMC on other Minecraft servers without permission. If you want to share the server, use appropriate platforms such as Minecraft server lists, forums, or social media.

Fair gameplay.

Trap killing, intentionally killing players inside protected areas, or scamming during trades is punishable. Always trade fairly and respect other players. Creating unfair situations to steal items or progress is not allowed.

Keep farms server-friendly.

Extremely large farms or systems that negatively impact server performance may be reviewed by the staff team. Staff may request changes or optimizations to ensure the best experience for both you and other players. Our goal is to provide a peaceful survival experience where everyone can enjoy the game. We are not here to create competition between players, but a balanced and enjoyable community.

Never share private information.

Sharing another person's private information is strictly forbidden. The staff team will never ask you for your password, email verification codes, or other private account information. We take account security and privacy seriously and continuously work to maintain the highest level of protection and quality standards.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how CovenMC collects, uses, stores, and protects player information while maintaining server security, integrity, and compliance with applicable laws and agreements. By accessing or playing on CovenMC, you acknowledge and agree to the collection and use of information described in this policy.

Data Collection and Use

1. CovenMC collects limited personal data required to operate and protect the server, such as IP addresses, Minecraft usernames, UUIDs, and information players voluntarily provide through applications, reports, support tickets, or other communication channels.

2. All in-game activities, including builds, claimed areas, transactions, chat messages, commands, and other server interactions may be logged and reviewed for moderation, security, rollback requests, and server management purposes.

3. CovenMC uses third-party services such as Tebex for donation and purchase processing. Players using these services are also subject to the privacy policies and terms of service of those providers.

4. CovenMC does not sell, trade, or use player information for advertising purposes. Collected information is only used for legitimate server-related operations.

Authorization and Player Agreement

By playing on CovenMC, players authorize the server to:

1. Store and manage gameplay-related data required for server operations, including moderation, player support, rollback requests, security investigations, and maintaining server balance.

2. Retain connection information, including IP addresses, for as long as reasonably necessary to maintain server security, prevent abuse, and handle moderation cases.

3. Review submitted content such as screenshots, reports, suggestions, or builds for support, moderation, community showcases, and server-related announcements.

4. Use publicly shared or submitted community content for server promotions, showcases, or community features when appropriate.

Website Privacy and Cookies

1. The CovenMC website may process basic technical information required for operation and security, including IP addresses, browser information, device information, requested pages, referrer information, and timestamps.

2. This information is used for website delivery, security monitoring, troubleshooting, and preventing malicious activity. CovenMC does not create advertising profiles or perform unnecessary tracking.

3. Necessary cookies may be used to remember website preferences, such as cookie consent choices. Optional analytics cookies will only be enabled when accepted by the visitor.

Protection and Liability

1. Players are responsible for securing their own accounts and personal information. CovenMC is not responsible for actions performed through compromised accounts caused by leaked passwords, shared accounts, or unsafe account practices.

2. CovenMC implements reasonable security measures to protect stored information. However, no online service can guarantee complete protection against every possible security threat.

3. If a significant security incident occurs, CovenMC will investigate the issue and take appropriate actions to protect affected users when necessary.

4. Players remain responsible for their own creations and submissions. By participating in the CovenMC community, players allow publicly shared content such as builds, screenshots, and suggestions to be showcased for community-related purposes.
